Light of the World

Told through the eyes of the young apostle John, the film "Jesus - Light of the World" follows the life of Jesus, from the first miracles and calls to the disciples, to His sacrifice and resurrection. While John and his brother Jacob, the sons of the fisherman Zebedee, are looking for their way in the world under Roman rule, the meeting with Jesus changes their lives forever. Through miracles, lessons about loving one's enemies, and messages of hope, Jesus gathers disciples and brings light to those who live in darkness. Despite betrayal, suffering, and crucifixion, the story ends not with death—but with a glorious resurrection that brings the promise of eternal life. This is a powerful and emotional animated story about faith, forgiveness and light overcoming darkness.

Film lab., officially „Film lab doo Beograd", is the youngest Serbian film distribution company, which operates in the region of former Yugoslavia. It was founded in June 2025 in Belgrade by young and promising current and future professionals from the fields of art and media, all with years of prior experience.
