A seventh-grader named Sasha is finishing the school year in a small town where he has temporarily moved from the capital while his mother, a renowned scientist, is away on an expedition. Struggling to fit in with his classmates, he finds solace in nature. When he rescues a fox cub from a hunter's trap, he decides to hide it from poachers and care for it. Like The Little Prince, who discovers what it truly means to tame and to be responsible for the one you love, Sasha's unlikely friendship with the fox teaches him profound lessons about trust, courage, justice, and humanity's relationship with nature.
