Told through the eyes of the young apostle John, the film "Jesus - Light of the World" follows the life of Jesus, from the first miracles and calls to the disciples, to His sacrifice and resurrection. While John and his brother Jacob, the sons of the fisherman Zebedee, are looking for their way in the world under Roman rule, the meeting with Jesus changes their lives forever. Through miracles, lessons about loving one's enemies, and messages of hope, Jesus gathers disciples and brings light to those who live in darkness. Despite betrayal, suffering, and crucifixion, the story ends not with death—but with a glorious resurrection that brings the promise of eternal life.
